About Sharon

ITEC Dip, MAR, CNHC registered

Sharon has been fortunate to realise her passion in practicing complementary therapies for over 20 years now.  She has a great interest in promoting well-being and providing support to people who seek a holistic approach to their health.

Sharon has developed her knowledge and expertise during this time by implementing and operating NHS Staff clinics within local hospitals.  Sharon has provided aromatherapy massage and reflexology service to inpatients at Marlow Community Hospital, Marlow, Bucks from 2002-2009. Here she supported patients requiring rehabilitation, respite care and palliative care.

For the last 9 years she has also been working as a member of the complementary therapy team at the University College Hospital London, one of the top NHS cancer centres in the UK supporting paediatric, teenage and adult oncology and haematology patients and their families. Sharon has been specially trained to work in clinical environments and you will feel supported through her knowledge and experience,  should you be living with cancer and wish to receive a complementary therapy from her.

Sharon also has considerable experience offering therapies to elderly patients and those suffering from dementia.  She is now enjoying supporting clients with her complementary therapies in Chinnor and is enjoying connecting with people on a one to one basis.

Each year Sharon undertakes a continuing professional development programme in advanced techniques in all areas of aromatherapy, massage and reflexology.

She has joined the voluntary regulatory body for Complementary Therapies in the UK, the CNHC, and is a full member of the Association of Reflexologists. Sharon is fully insured and as a member of the Association of Reflexologists and registered with the Complementary and Natural Healthcare Council she is committed to their code of ethics and professional practice.

On a personal note, Sharon has three grown up children and lives in Chinnor.  She enjoys walking, cycling, swimming and spending time with her family.
